Move Your Lists Anywhere Lists get trapped in apps: tasks here, contacts there, playlists elsewhere. List porting is the craft of exporting, converting, and importing them intact.

ListPort.com covers list portability: exporting tasks, contacts, playlists, and wishlists from one app and importing them into another — formats and field maps.

What List Port Does

Move Your Lists Anywhere

About list portability: getting your lists — tasks, contacts, playlists, wishlists — out of one app and into another without retyping.

📤

Export Basics

Find the CSV, OPML, or JSON hiding in your app's settings — nearly every app has one.

🔁

Format Conversion

Turn one app's export into another app's import, with the quoting and encoding traps flagged.

🗂️

Field Mapping

Make 'due date' in one app land as 'deadline' in the next instead of vanishing.

🎵

Playlist Moves

Carrying playlists between music services: what transfers, what breaks, what to check.

👥

Contact List Moves

vCard and CSV routes between address books, with duplicate cleanup on the way through.

✅

Verify After Import

Count items, spot-check fields, and keep the export file until the new home is proven.

How List Port Works

From signup to value in 3 steps

1

Export from the old app

Dig the export option out of settings and save the most complete format offered.

2

Convert and map

Reshape the file to the destination's format and decide where each field should land.

3

Import and verify

Bring the list in, count the items, spot-check the details, and only then retire the old app.

Frequently Asked

What format should I export to?

CSV is the lingua franca for most lists, vCard for contacts, OPML for feeds and outlines. When the destination app documents its import format, start from that and work backwards.

Will I lose data moving a list?

Fields the destination doesn't support are the usual casualties — tags, attachments, custom columns. Map fields before importing and verify counts after, keeping the original export as your safety net.

Can playlists really move between music services?

The list itself — titles and artists — usually can, by matching tracks in the new service's catalog. A few tracks may not exist there, so check the misses after the transfer.
